The Faces of Gary Oldman

By Jonathan Gordon

The man is a CHAMELEON.

  • Sirius Black in Harry Potters 3-5 (2004-2007)

A whole generation grew up when Sirius died in The Order of the Phoenix. Good old Garry pulled off the "villain-turned-hero-turned-dead" flawlessly.

  • Beethoven in 'Immortal Beloved' (1994)

Who knew that hair could be used by an actor to such effect?

  • Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy (1986)

Can't help but think that this incarnation of the Sex Pistols bass guitarist, drug addict and one time murderer was close to what Gary would have looked like as a young lad.

  • Zorg in 'The Fifth Element' (1997)

Is it the best movie ever? Probably. Is Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg the best name ever? Definitely.

  • Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK (1991)

Super creepy as the lost soul who who may have, killed JFK. Those eyes.

  • The Count in 'Dracula' (1992)

Scary as hell, but also weirdly sexy. Hard act to pull off with a kilo of prosthetics on your head.
